Dovetail Games has announced the appointment of Gemma Brown and Rob O'Farrell as Co-CEOs

Gemma Brown and Rob O'Farrell have been named Co-CEOs by Dovetail Games.

Brown, who has been with the company for over a decade as COO, and O'Farrell, the company's CDO with similar tenure, have both shown exceptional leadership and a comprehensive grasp of the company's operations, according to Dovetail.

In a joint statement, the new co-CEOs expressed, "It is a true honor for us to take on the leadership of Dovetail Games together. We deeply believe in the unique model of our studio, which places the gaming community at the heart of everything we do."

They continued by praising their colleagues, saying, "We are also immensely proud to work alongside the talented teams at Dovetail Games, whose dedication and passion for their craft make the studio a key player in the video game industry. We are excited to continue building this promising future together."

Geoffroy Sardin, Deputy CEO of Pullup Entertainment, remarked, "The appointment of Gemma and Rob is a pivotal moment for Dovetail Games and reflects Pullup Entertainment’s commitment to promoting exceptional internal talent. Their combined expertise and deep knowledge of the industry will be major assets for the studio’s future."

The company highlighted that the new leadership's experience and strategic insight are expected to maintain the company's growth trajectory and stability. They expressed gratitude to Jon Rissik, who is stepping down from the CEO position after over 12 years of service.

Back in April 2023, Focus Entertainment acquired Dovetail Games, a noted developer and publisher in simulation games, for an undisclosed amount.
