The deal's amount has not been disclosed. It's worth noting that Jam City itself acquired the creators of Jurassic World Alive for $165 million in 2021.

In a comment to the PocketGamer portal, a Jam City representative stated that the sale will not significantly affect the company's business. Currently, Jam City has a portfolio of ten studios, most of which focus on casual games, with Ludia being the only mid-core team.

Ludia was founded in 2007 in Montreal. In addition to Jurassic World Alive, it worked on games such as Jurassic World: The Game, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Legends, Dragons: Rise of Berk, Where’s Waldo? The Fantastic Journey, and Warriors of Waterdeep. Some of its projects were released not only on mobile devices but also on PCs and consoles.

According to AppMagic, Ludia's most profitable mobile game is Jurassic World: The Game. Over 10 years of operation, it has generated $231.4 million in net IAP revenue. Jurassic World Alive is the second highest-grossing game, with IAP revenue estimated at $159 million.

The main hit for Jam City is the puzzle game Cookie Jam, which has earned more than both of these games combined. According to AppMagic's calculations, its net IAP revenue amounts to $523.3 million*.

*Cookie Jam was released in early 2014, but AppMagic has only tracked data since 2015. Therefore, the game's revenue should be even higher.
