The multiplayer title, Resident Evil Re:Verse, will be phased out by Capcom.

Effective March 3, 2025, this game, along with its downloadable content, will no longer be available on digital platforms and will cease to be packaged with Resident Evil Village.

Individuals who have obtained a download token for this game by the specified date or have redeemed one already will retain access to it until the server closure on June 29.

Following the end of service, those owning a premium pass will not continue to obtain benefits linked to it.

Capcom commented on Resident Evil Re:Verse, stating it was launched to mark the franchise’s 25th year. They acknowledged the tremendous support that exceeded their expectations since its debut.

"With the series evolving, we believe Resident Evil Re:Verse has successfully fulfilled its initial, celebratory role," Capcom added.

They concluded by expressing sincere gratitude for the game's support and offered an apology for delivering this unfortunate announcement.

Launched in October 2022 after an extended delay, the game allows six players to compete online.
