Astro Bot and Black Myth: Wukong are leading the nominations for the Game Developers Choice Awards

The 25th Game Developers Choice Awards has announced its finalists, with Astro Bot and Black Myth: Wukong each receiving seven nominations.

In nine different categories, the platformer by Team Asobi and the RPG from Game Science earned nods for Game of the Year, Best Design, Best Technology, and Best Audio.

Outstanding indie titles were also acknowledged, with Animal Well earning five nominations and Balatro four, both including the prestigious Game of the Year category.

The awards ceremony is scheduled for March 19 at the GDC in San Francisco's Moscone Convention Center, happening from March 17 to March 21.
