David Haddad, the president of Warner Bros. Games, is set to resign

David Haddad, who serves as president of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, will be stepping down from his position. He will conclude his tenure in April, following a 12-year period overseeing the gaming segment of the company, once a successor has been identified by the board.

JB Perrette, CEO and president of Warner Bros. Discovery Global Streaming and Games, commented in an announcement to employees covered by Variety, stating, "David has thoughtfully and purposefully chosen a time when our release schedule is lighter, which will help minimize disruption to our ongoing projects and strategic plans. This timing allows the team to seamlessly prepare for its next big success."

Perrette continued, "Although change can be challenging, especially after 12 years with the same leader, it also brings opportunities for fresh ideas and the creation of a new exciting phase for our fans and the business. I’m eager to begin this journey with you."

Though Haddad didn't specify his upcoming plans, he remarked, "I am immensely proud of what we have achieved at Warner Bros. Games during my tenure. It has been wonderful to contribute to our legendary gaming series, and I remain a committed supporter of this talented team's future efforts.

He expressed his anticipation for his next career move, stating, "I look forward to embarking on the next part of my professional journey and remain grateful for my time with Warner Bros. Games."
