Team17 Group has changed its name to Everplay

Team17 Group is transitioning to Everplay Group. Despite this change, its indie game label, Team17 Digital, will maintain its current name.

Similarly, acquisitions like Astragon Entertainment and StoryToys, obtained in 2022 and 2021, will keep their existing identities.

The company emphasized that its various divisions will focus on enhancing operational efficiencies and seeking strategic growth while clearly distinguishing between Everplay and Team17.

The official change to Everplay is set for early February.

Steve Bell, Everplay's CEO, highlighted the rebrand as a way to encourage more internal collaboration and to pursue expansion in sectors related to the indie market.

In a separate video aimed at investors, Bell spoke about how the rebranding offers an opportunity to enhance the group's functions, aiming for growth beyond its current capacity.

Bell further stated that the new name aims to simplify the group's structure, capitalize on its collective strengths, nurture talent, and align with their goal to evolve into a leading name on the global indie stage.
