Team17 will change its name to Everyplay Group
The British company group Team17 has decided to rebrand. It announced that starting February, it will operate under the name Everyplay Group.
As Team17 explained, the name change will reflect the evolution of its business since the group went public in 2018. Moreover, it will eliminate the confusion between the group's name and its namesake division.
Everyplay Group will consist of three divisions:
- the indie publisher and developer Team17;
- the publisher Astragon Entertainment;
- the developer studio of educational apps StoryToys.
“The new brand better describes our business, which has evolved significantly since the IPO. It also aligns with our DNA—never stop playing. The rebranding creates an ideal backdrop for developing closer collaboration within the company, as well as reflecting our desire to increase our presence in additional sectors of the indie market,” stated the group's CEO, Steve Bell.
Simultaneously, Team17 announced that its revenue and adjusted EBITDA for 2024 will be slightly higher than market expectations. It did not disclose figures, stating it will share them in a financial report in March.
At the time of the news release, Team17's shares had risen by 10.42% to 265 pence per share.
