Ted Price, the CEO and founder of Insomniac Games, is set to resign after three decades with the company

The head and creator of Insomniac Games, Ted Price, has announced his retirement scheduled for later this year.
Price shared his intentions to leave his position in March while expressing concerns over the severe fires in Los Angeles, California—where his company is situated. He extended gratitude to his colleagues who have supported those in need during this time.
According to Price, the team’s dedication and teamwork have brought Insomniac to a strong standing, with their current projects showing exceptional potential both visually and in gameplay.
“After leading the company for over three decades, I realized it was the right moment to pass on the leadership to others to guide our team forward,” he remarked.
Following Price’s retirement, Chad Dezern, Ryan Schneider, and Jen Huang will assume the roles of co-studio heads at Insomniac Games.
Price expressed complete trust in the new leadership team, highlighting Chad, Jen, and Ryan’s capability to advance Insomniac toward future successes.
Reflecting on his tenure, Price stated, “For the last 30 years, Insomniac has been my second home. I am deeply grateful to every team member for their significant and lasting influence on my life,” he added, emphasizing his appreciation for the time spent working alongside them as a cherished part of his life.
