Huuuge Games reduces workforce by 29%

Mobile game developer Huuuge Games, headquartered in Poland, is reducing its workforce by 29%, impacting 122 positions.

Among those affected, 89 employees are based in the company's Polish office, which accounts for 21% of this location’s workforce. The redundancy process is set to conclude by the end of February 2025.

The company is also shutting down its operations in the Netherlands and Finland. It plans to halt the development of new games to prioritize its social casino game offerings.

Furthermore, Huuuge will stop funding Bananaz Studios and reduce the valuation of this subsidiary’s assets by $3.5 million.

Huuuge Games' CEO, Wojciech Wronowski, stated, "We deeply value the contributions of all our team members and are taking steps to support those affected through this transition." He added that this strategy underscores a commitment to optimizing operations and fostering innovation.

In alignment with these strategic adjustments, Huuuge has named Maciej Hebda as treasurer and Executive Vice President of finance, effective April 1, 2025. This follows the departure of Marek Chwałek.
