Audiomob sets up MENA regional headquarters in Abu Dhabi

Audiomob, the company focusing on audio ads in video games, has launched its MENA headquarters on Yas Island, located in the United Arab Emirates.

The choice of the UAE for this expansion was influenced by the country's strategic location and attractiveness in terms of technology, skilled workforce, and financial incentives, according to Audiomob, which partnered with Abu Dhabi Gaming.

Co-founder and CTO Wilfrid Obeng remarked, “Abu Dhabi has proven to be the perfect home for us, opening crucial doors to help us meet our ambitious growth strategy.”

Obeng also highlighted the importance of the support from Abu Dhabi Gaming, which has provided assistance through financial incentives, talent development initiatives, and opportunities for collaboration within the local industry ecosystem.

In 2021, AudioMob acquired $14 million through a Series A funding round. The firm, established in 2020, indicated that the funds would facilitate team expansions in both London and Abu Dhabi, product development, and the recruitment of leaders for critical divisions.
