Just 15 months after its initial launch, the servers for Dynasty Warrior M are set to close

Koei Tecmo, in collaboration with Nexon, has made public their decision to terminate Dynasty Warrior M, their free-to-play action game, just a little over a year after it was made available to players.

In an announcement on their blog, the developers thanked all "warriors who have supported Dynasty Warriors M with interest and feedback for over a year since launch” and conveyed their regret that the game's service will conclude on February 20th, 2025.

Although the announcement did not provide reasons for the shutdown, they assured players of their commitment to maintaining a high level of service until the closure date.

Players were also informed that refunds for any in-game purchases, including currency or items, would not be processed.

According to AppMagic, the game has thus far accumulated approximately $11 million in total player expenditure, receiving a rating of 4.1 on Google Play and 4.6 on the App Store.
