PTW has launched a new studio in South Carolina

PTW, known for its services in the gaming industry, has established a new studio in Charleston, South Carolina.

This studio will be managed by Bernhard Rieder, with Sebastien Bisch, the VP of operations for the Americas, overseeing the venture.

This venture marks PTW's fourth studio within North America, offering advanced facilities tailored for next-generation testing.

Bisch noted the importance of a domestic quality assurance solution, highlighting Charleston's appeal due to its emerging status as a tech hub with access to skilled talent.

He expressed PTW's enthusiasm about establishing a center of excellence in Charleston and the forthcoming creation of a flagship studio in the region.

In previous developments, PTW bought Ghostpunch Games, located in Florida, for $13 million.

This acquisition took place after staff reductions that affected approximately 45 employees, predominantly from QA teams, earlier in January.
