Motorsport Games is discontinuing its NASCAR games as the intellectual property license transfers ownership

Motorsport Games announced that its NASCAR games will be removed from sale by the end of this year, following the transfer of licensing rights to iRacing.

As of December 31, 2024, the NASCAR titles and their downloadable content (DLC) will no longer be purchasable.

According to a statement on X/Twitter, Motorsport Games confirmed this development, stating that existing owners will still have access to their games.

"On December 31, 2024, all NASCAR game titles and DLC will be delisted from digital stores but will remain accessible to current players," shared Motorsport Games, as reported by TSA.

The company expressed gratitude for the support from its community, saying they hoped players enjoyed the experience over the years.

The acquisition of the NASCAR console game license by iRacing was initially revealed in October 2023.

Despite these changes, 704 Games, associated with Motorsport Games, will continue their development efforts, with a new NASCAR title scheduled for a 2025 release.
