My.Games divests its hyper-casual game publisher, Mamboo
My.Games has decided to divest itself of its hyper-casual game publishing division, Mamboo.
This move is in line with My.Games' strategy to concentrate on the mid-core gaming sector, thus emphasizing its dedication to innovation and expansion within this domain.
"Having worked with Mamboo has been an enriching experience," the firm expressed in a statement. "Yet, the strategic goals of our enterprises differ, and we've chosen to separate paths."
The company expressed optimism for Mamboo's prospects in its specific market segment and extended its best wishes for the team's successful progression. They have confidence that this shift will facilitate Mamboo's progress toward its objectives and enhance its team's potential.
CEO Elena Grigorian highlighted the firm's ongoing focus on creating captivating mid-core games that not only lead in their categories but also engage players over the long term.
Mamboo Entertainment was founded in Abu Dhabi, UAE, in 2020 and became part of My.Games in 2021.
Last July, My.Games announced the sale of its non-core businesses, including platforms like DonationAlerts and Boosty.
