Codecks has raised €1 million in a funding round
Project management tool developer Codecks, based in Berlin, has raised €1 million to enhance its platform.
An allocation of €700,000 comes from the EU's Creative Europe Media Program, supplemented by €300,000 from within the company.
This capital will allow for the development of new functionalities and improvements in the tool, alongside strengthening the team and infrastructure.
Codecks co-founder Riad Djemili remarked, "Our goal is to aid game creators in developing projects efficiently and enjoyably."
"The grant gives us a chance to significantly evolve Codecks, enhancing our current offerings and crafting new solutions to make project management a dynamic and effective experience," he added.
Co-founder and lead developer Daniel Berndt stated: "We crafted Codecks as a tribute to game creators. The grant helps us to broaden our vision with features that add value to any team, no matter where they are."
Established in 2019, Codecks employs a unique game-like card and deck approach for project management. Among its clients are Unity, Warpfrog, and Free Lives.
