Appcharge secures $26 million in funding
Appcharge, a mobile monetization platform, has successfully secured $26 million in funding.
The Series A investment was spearheaded by Creandum, with additional backing from Supercell, Bitkraft Ventures, and Moneta Ventures.
This capital will aid in enhancing Appcharge's offerings, which include supplying mobile game publishers with web store capabilities, payment solutions, and other services.
According to CEO Maor Sason, "The gaming industry is experiencing significant shifts as direct-to-consumer (DTC) strategies rise in response to new regulations affecting traditional app stores and increasing costs for acquiring users. Publishers need to adopt DTC approaches to better meet these challenges. Players receive greater value and a gaming-enhanced experience, while publishers see an uptick in revenue and stronger ties with their audience. Appcharge is leading the way for publishers to regain control."
