Supercell is turning Clash Royale into a gaming platform. The first step is integrating Clash Mini
Supercell has announced plans to develop Clash Royale as a gaming platform for mobile strategies. This was reported by the portal MobileGamer, citing the general manager of Clash Royale, Aleksandar Markovic.
Clash Mini
According to Markovic, Supercell is inspired by the success of Fortnite, Roblox, and League of Legends. Following their example, the team intends to expand the functionality of Clash Royale by introducing new game mechanics.
The company will start by implementing Clash Mini as a separate game mode for Clash Royale. Its launch is scheduled for June 2025.
The top manager added that other new modes might appear in the game, proposed both by Supercell's internal team and by external developers.
"We believe this will help us better understand how ready players are for new developments and how far we can advance the concept of Royale as a gaming platform," concluded Markovic.
It should be noted that Supercell ceased support for Clash Mini in April 2024.
