Many Cats Studios has revealed the members for its second Impact campaign, which is focused on highlighting the skills of UK-based gaming experts who have disabilities or are neurodivergent.

This year's group, aimed at enhancing visibility for those with various conditions like visual impairments, ME/CFS, challenges with audio processing, autism, ADHD, and Type 1 diabetes, seeks to broaden representation.

The selected members, listed below, will gain support from peers and integrate into a network tailored for disabled and neurodivergent participants, fostering a "supportive community."

  • Olivia Arnell, Art Producer, Sponge Hammer
  • Lauranora Swain, Junior Tools UX Developer, Frontier Developments
  • Jonas Gawe, Community & Events Lead, Into Games
  • Ben “Sightless Kombat” Breen, Accessible Gaming Officer, RNIB
  • Hollie Page, Associate Programmer, Electric Square / Lively Studio
  • iPetrichora "Chora", Content Creator, Freelance

Harriet Frayling, who leads the Impact project at Many Cats Studios, stated, "After witnessing the success of Impact last year, we felt it was vital to continue this meaningful initiative."

"The initial group formed deep connections and offered each other support through the unique challenges and triumphs faced by disabled or neurodivergent professionals in the UK gaming scene."

"We have significant plans for engaging our community through Impact, providing new avenues for career development and achievements for the cohort. Our goal is to expand our Discord community so that every disabled or neurodivergent voice can be heard, connecting globally beyond just the UK!"
