The new division, Lightspeed Japan Studio, will operate in both Tokyo and Osaka and is set to create original AAA action games, marking a notable stride in the company's international growth.

"We are deeply privileged to have Hideaki Itsuno join our team," stated Jerry Chen, president of Lightspeed. "Setting up Lightspeed Japan Studio marks a crucial phase in our studio's growth, showcasing our dedication to delivering top-quality games to our audience."

Itsuno expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "Joining Lightspeed Studios opens a dynamic new phase for my career. In September, Itsuno departed from Capcom, where he had been employed for thirty years since joining the company's arcade sector in 1994, contributing notably to the Devil May Cry and Dragon's Dogma series.
