"Less than two hours" — that's how long it took for a finished asset from a popular creator to appear in the game

The artist Kenney Vleugels shared with the indie developer community that his recently released asset pack was integrated into a game just two hours after its release.

Toziuha Night: Order of the Alchemists

Last week, on November 6, he introduced a new free tileset featuring minimaps on his website—consisting of 25 elements in total.

One of the developers almost immediately adapted it for their Metroidvania game, Toziuha Night, and announced it on social media.

Vleugels commented on the post: “Two hours... two hours after the release of the new set—and it’s already in a game!”

Enthusiasts joked that it's time to organize speedrun competitions—only the main criterion would not be completing a game with the author's resources, but the speed of integrating them into projects.

Fans call Vleugels the “Asset Messiah” for his contributions to creating free graphic elements that support thousands of aspiring developers worldwide.

To date, he has released over 50,000 models and has developed tools with ready-made blocks that simplify the process of creating and customizing graphics.
