Amazon is in the process of developing a TV series based on Mass Effect

An upcoming television series inspired by BioWare's Mass Effect is set for production with Amazon at the helm.
Daniel Casey, known for his involvement in Fast and Furious 9, will undertake both writing and executive production for the project in collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios. Cedar Tree Productions' Karim Zreik is also attached as a producer for the series.
The executive production team is completed by Ari Arad alongside EA's Michael Gamble.
While specific storyline details remain undisclosed, Variety has highlighted the secrecy surrounding the plot.
In the wake of Amazon's God of War series encountering a fresh start after losing its showrunner, Ronald D. Moore has been appointed as showrunner, writer, and executive producer for the adaptation.
Moore's credentials include significant sci-fi television series such as Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica, in addition to Outlander and For All Mankind.
