Sega plans to remove several titles from its Classics collections

Beginning December 6, 2024, Sega will remove certain games and packages from its Classics series on various digital platforms.
According to Sega's support page, these games will no longer be available for purchase, yet they will remain accessible in the collections of users who already bought them.
The Sega Genesis Classics collection will be taken down from online marketplaces for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox. Additionally, the Mega Drive pack will be removed from Steam.
Subscribers of Nintendo Switch Online can continue to access individual classic games.
Titles such as Crazy Taxi, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, Virtua Fighter 2, and Altered Beast will be withdrawn from both Xbox and Steam, alongside other games that are unique to each platform.
