Next year, The Elder Scrolls Legends will cease operation, and the game can no longer be purchased on Steam.

According to Rock Paper Shotgun, players now receive a notification that the game's servers are scheduled to shut down permanently on January 30, 2025.

The notification states: "From now until [then], all items in the store and entry into in-game events will be available for one gold each, so you can enjoy all the content Legends has to offer."

The game, launched in May 2017, saw its active development halted in 2019, as reported by GamesIndustry.biz.

Bethesda had announced at the time that any new content and releases would be paused "for the foreseeable future."
