Maintain Altitude secures $500,000 in a pre-seed funding round

Maintain Altitude, a company specializing in mobile music gaming, has secured $500,000 in a pre-seed investment round.
This funding round, spearheaded by Hiro Capital, also saw contributions from angel investors known for their involvement in Candy Crush and Guitar Hero.
The company is working on its first game, Beat Hunter, which is scheduled for a soft launch on iOS and Android devices in 2025, followed by a full release in 2026.
The capital will be used to further develop the game, expand the team, and facilitate partnerships with prominent figures in the music industry.
Established in 2022, the company was co-founded by CEO Oliver Moira and CTO Simon Prytherch.
Moira boasts two decades of music industry experience and co-founded Black Butter Records, a label now under Sony.
Prytherch has over 30 years in the gaming industry, having co-founded studios such as Chromativity and Fluid Games, and has occupied senior positions at Kwalee and Gamigo.
"This investment is a pivotal moment for Maintain Altitude," Moira stated. "We're ready to redefine music gaming and create experiences that engage players around the world."
