Reports indicate that the UK branch of Inflexion Games is set to shut down

Inflexion Games' branch in the UK is reportedly shutting its doors. Audio director Jon Newman revealed the closure on LinkedIn, expressing his sorrow over the decision to close the UK subsidiary and the resulting impact on local roles, including those within the audio team.
Principal audio designer Rebecca Parnell confirmed she was also affected, as did senior audio designer Tom Avis. Inflexion has yet to officially comment, and the number of employees affected by these layoffs is still unclear.
Newman praised his colleagues, reflecting on the past four years of working on the studio's project, the fantasy open-world survival crafting game, Nightingale. He expressed pride in their efforts and dedication to creating something special.
Coincidentally, Surgent Studios recently announced a hiatus for its gaming division due to financial difficulties, potentially jeopardizing a number of positions. More details can be found from last week's report on Surgent Studios' funding issues.
