Recent insights from Ipsos UK's GameTrack show that women make up nearly half of Nintendo Switch users in the United Kingdom.

The survey, commissioned by Video Games Europe, reveals that 47% of Switch gamers in the UK are female. This marks a significant increase compared to data from five years ago.

Among these female gamers, those aged between 15 and 24 represent the largest group, making up 26% of the demographic. They are followed by 11 to 14-year-olds at 19%, and 25 to 34-year-olds at 17%.

The smallest participation comes from women aged 45 to 64, constituting just 8% of the user base.

This report coincides with the launch of a new UK television advertisement by Nintendo, featuring artist Raye and her sisters playing Animal Crossing and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
