Outersloth announces additional funding and collaborates with Casey Yano from "Slay the Spire"
The publishing branch of the development house Innersloth, known as Outersloth, has obtained additional financial backing.
According to a statement on their official website, the publisher has already committed to 13 new games. The announcement also included the information that Casey Yano, known for Slay the Spire, has joined Outersloth along with an "indie friend" who prefers to stay unnamed.
Victoria Tran, who manages the community, stated that this update won’t affect the operations or ownership of Outersloth. Instead, it simply adds financial resources available for game development each year.
The exact contribution of these new members wasn't disclosed, with Tran only noting that "Casey and [MYSTERY FRIEND] have the autonomy to decide their level of funding."
Tran assured in the post that, although a specific amount wasn’t disclosed, both are committed to investing funds to support interesting game projects, and emphasized that their budget forecasts are positive for the foreseeable future.
Outersloth, part of the studio known for its hit game Among Us, was established as an indie games fund by Innersloth back in June.
