King inaugurates a new office in Berlin

King has unveiled its new office in Berlin.

Although King has been present in Berlin since 2014, the latest office is located "on the sunny side of the river Spree." According to Eric Bowman, the Chief Technology Officer, this German office will engage in various projects.

“Previously, we assigned specific game teams to specific offices, but that is no longer how we operate," Bowman mentioned to mobilegamer.biz.

"Our game teams are now distributed across all our offices, allowing our staff to work in a location that suits them, such as in Berlin.”

Bowman noted that the company currently has about 2000 employees spread across the UK, Sweden, Spain, Germany, and the US.

“The Berlin office has contributed to numerous successful projects, including On Fire and Daily Bonus in Candy Crush Saga. The Berlin team has also played a significant role in major projects like All Stars. These initiatives are essential to King's operations," Bowman stated.

“We are extremely proud to be part of the German gaming sector, and one reason for opening the Berlin office is the outstanding talent available here,” he continued. “We wanted to provide our employees with an excellent environment for collaboration, and the new office fulfills this purpose.”
