A survey reveals that 53% of gamers favor single-player games
A recent analysis indicates that more than 50% of gamers favor single-player experiences.
Midia Research reports that this type of gameplay has become a favorite on all gaming platforms, especially mobile, with 58% of participants expressing a preference for single-player games.
Information gathered from Midia Research's consumer surveys in early 2024 and early 2023 included responses from people in the US, UK, Australia, Canada, Germany, France, Poland, Turkey, and South Africa.
Findings suggest that single-player titles are particularly appealing to older gamers, with 74% of individuals over the age of 55 opting for solo gameplay.
Conversely, 43% of those between the ages of 20 and 24 leaned towards PVP gaming.
The survey also highlighted that about 33% of participants are more inclined to play independently if a free demo is available.
