French publisher RIVRS has secured €4 million to enhance the professionalism and industrialization of user-generated content (UGC)
RIVRS, a company based in France, has secured €4 million in funding aimed at enhancing and scaling its approach to user-generated content (UGC).
The publisher intends to leverage its expertise in designing multi-platform games for Minecraft, Roblox, and Fortnite to establish itself as a global leader in UGC video game production.
The recent seed funding, spearheaded by Pléiade Venture, is set to strengthen RIVRS's leadership within Europe and fuel its global growth, allowing for an expansion of its games portfolio and the exploration of new gaming platforms.
The company plans to use the funding to boost its development capabilities and venture into additional gaming platforms.
Established in Rennes, France in 2021 by Romain Hubert and Loïc Deffains, RIVRS has already released ten games, achieving nearly €500,000 in revenue from a single game.
Hubert stated, "Our robust business model and our efficiency in creating high-quality games swiftly place us at the forefront of the global UGC video game market."
"This investment round is a crucial moment in our journey, empowering us to achieve our goal of becoming the leading company in UGC video games worldwide in the near future," he added.
