The UK Best Places To Work Awards 2024 winners announced
Today, the Royal Institution in London hosted the eighth annual GamesIndustry.biz Best Places To Work Awards in the UK, coinciding with the HR Summit.
A total of 26 gaming companies were recognized for their outstanding workplace environments, evaluated through a dual-survey process: one for employers (20% of the evaluation) and one for employees (80% of the evaluation).
The accolade recipients were categorized into large, mid-sized, and small companies, detailed in the following list. Congratulations to all the winners!
Special awards were also given to companies excelling in particular areas like climate initiatives, charity support, workforce wellness, diversity, and educational collaboration.
The HR Hero accolade, which replaced the previous 'Best Boss' award, was awarded to Ilona Popczyk of Green Man Gaming, serving as HR director and data protection officer.
The G Into Gaming Award, recognizing an advocate for women in the industry, was presented to Harinder Sangha from Maverick Games.
This initiative is supported by Amiqus, Games London, Lighthouse Games, and Playground Games. More details on the award criteria can be found here.
