52 Entertainment has successfully taken over the Barcelona-based gaming company, Blackout. This move is set to expand 52 Entertainment's portfolio by integrating new elements and enhancing its global presence. It is anticipated that this will introduce millions of additional players to its community.

Blackout is a prominent player in the gaming field, drawing in more than 19.6 million users each month and boasting over 344 million downloads for popular games such as Bubble Shooter, Rainbow, Word Search Quest, and Spades.

The CEO of Blackout, Michel de Voronine, stated, "This acquisition is an exciting step for our studio and will allow us to work together to pool our expertise and the resources needed to continue developing high-quality casual games. This will bring more opportunities for our players to be able to enjoy even better games.”
