Tilting Point plans to reduce its workforce by approximately 90 employees

Tilting Point, the studio behind the Narcos game, is reducing its workforce by as many as 90 employees. This decision was disclosed to MobileGamer.biz by CEO Kevin Segalla. Segalla explained that despite efforts to preserve the company's structure, layoffs were deemed necessary to ensure the company's continued health and viability.

The potential job cuts might affect up to 20% of Tilting Point's worldwide workforce. Currently, the company employs approximately 450 individuals across locations in the United States, with additional offices in Barcelona, Kyiv, and Seoul, Korea.

Tilting Point is recognized for developing games such as Star Trek, Narcos, and SpongeBob: Krusty Cook-Off. In a previous round of layoffs earlier in 2023, the company let go of 60 employees due to organizational restructuring, as reported by GamesIndustry.biz.
