Control has been played by 19 million people
Control has turned five years old. In honor of this, Remedy announced that over 19 million people have engaged with the game to date.

Importantly, this figure does not reflect the number of copies sold. The game has been offered for free several times in the Epic Games Store and is also included in Game Pass and PlayStation Plus subscriptions.
The last time the developers disclosed Control's sales was in February 2024, reporting sales of 4 million copies with net revenue of 100 million euros.
Currently, Remedy is expanding the Control franchise. In the latest financial report, the developers announced that the sequel is ready for production, and a spin-off with the working title Condor is in full development.
