Coin Master tops $6 billion in player spending, generating around $1.2 billion per year since 2020
Coin Master has reached a new revenue milestone. The social casino hit remains one of the highest-grossing mobile games globally.
According to Sensor Tower, Coin Master has generated over $6 billion in lifetime player spending globally. The US accounts for 39% of the total, with the top 5 countries including Germany, UK, France, and Taiwan.
The US also leads in downloads, accounting for 18% of the total 356 million installs. It is followed by India, with 12%.
Coin Master initially launched in December 2010, but started generating money only after its re-launch in February 2016. Here is some data on the game and its revenue:
- Monthly spending surpassed $10 million in December 2018;
- Monthly spending surpassed $35 million in March 2019;
- Monthly spending surpassed $63 million in October 2019;
- Monthly spending reached $113 million in May 2020.
Sensor Tower noted that Coin Master has been generating nearly $1.2 billion in annual player spending since 2020.

In the first half of 2024, Coin Master ranked 6th in player spending globally, right between Game for Peace (Chinese version of PUBG Mobile) and Candy Crush Saga. It generated $98 million in July alone, making it the 10th highest-grossing mobile game in the world.
Developed by Israeli studio Moon Active, Coin Master disrupted the social casino genre at one time by introducing several innovations to traditional slots mechanics and scaling the game through LiveOps events.
Coin Master’s success was a bit overshadowed by Monopoly Go!, Scopely’s major hit that has already made over $3 billion in revenue since its launch in April 2023. However, Moon Active’s title still performs strong even more than a decade after its initial release.
