In a bid to bolster the gaming sector in Saudi Arabia and the broader Middle East, a new partnership has been formed between Savvy Games Group and Xsolla. The collaboration involves establishing an incubator and accelerator program, as well as the Xsolla Savvy Game Development Academy designed to encourage game development careers and foster talent in Saudi Arabia.
The two companies also plan to host events tailored for gaming professionals and enthusiasts, although specific details have yet to be shared. It's anticipated that about 3,600 jobs in the gaming industry will be created in the region by the year 2030 due to this partnership.
To enhance its operations in the Middle East, Xsolla will also inaugurate an office in Riyadh. Brian Ward, CEO of Savvy, remarked that joining forces with Xsolla is a crucial move towards achieving global recognition for Saudi Arabia's gaming and esports sectors. The alliance aims to create employment and lay the groundwork for a dynamic and sustainable gaming industry.
