Blacknut, a cloud gaming service, has entered into a partnership with Ubisoft
Blacknut Cloud Gaming has revealed a fresh distribution partnership with Ubisoft.
Beginning this month, a range of Ubisoft titles will become available on Blacknut's platform, allowing gamers to enjoy access to over 500 premium games through streaming under a single subscription without a contractual obligation.
Ubisoft, which holds cloud rights for both current and upcoming Activision titles for the next 15 years, has announced that popular franchises such as Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, Anno, and Rayman will be joining Blacknut.
Chris Early, Senior VP of strategic partnerships and business development at Ubisoft, stated, “Blacknut’s premium cloud infrastructure, broad reach, and device compatibility have made them a force in the cloud gaming market, and will help bring Ubisoft’s many gaming universes to more players.”
He added, "This is just the beginning of our partnership, and we look forward to sharing more soon."
Olivier Avaro, CEO of Blacknut, expressed enthusiasm over the collaboration: “Bringing Ubisoft games to our platform represents a significant milestone in our growth strategy. We’re excited to offer our users an unparalleled gaming experience with one of the industry's most iconic publishers, featuring some of the world’s most emblematic franchises. This endeavour significantly enhances our current offerings, and we are eager to expand our partnership with Ubisoft, both as a B2C distributor and on a global scale in the coming months.”
