Silent Hill: Ascension received recognition at the 2024 Creative Arts Emmy Awards
The interactive series Silent Hill: Ascension, developed by Genvid, has received the Outstanding Innovation in Emerging Media Programming accolade at the 76th Creative Arts Emmy Awards.
This series, streaming from October 31, 2023, to July 15, 2024, features 22 episodes characterized by a choose-your-own-adventure format where viewers influence the storyline outcomes.
Utilizing Unreal Engine and the MetaHuman Creator tool, Silent Hill: Ascension aims to deliver a unique viewing experience.
"Receiving this recognition from the jury at the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences is a significant honor," remarked Jacob Novak, CEO of Genvid. "I extend my gratitude to our global team of over 300 writers, artists, developers, QA testers, motion capture performers, voice actors, and localization editors who made this achievement possible."
Novak also acknowledged the pivotal support from Konami Digital Entertainment and collaborators such as Bad Robot Games, Behaviour Interactive, Senscape, Streamline, Google, and Epic Games in this endeavor.
Looking ahead, Genvid is set to launch its next project, DC Heroes United, later in the year.
The 76th Creative Emmy Awards are scheduled to take place over two nights at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on September 7 and September 8, 2024.
