Mad Crusader is set to allocate $30 million towards investments in AA games
Mad Crusader has declared plans to allocate $30 million towards the development of premium AA game intellectual properties (IPs) created within its incubation initiative.
Based in Cyprus, the company will distribute this funding over four phases across two years to assist program alumni in transforming their initial concepts into viable commercial IPs.
Participants within the incubator will receive an equity stake in each product, as well as a share in Mad Crusader's game development endeavors.
The inaugural phase of the program, which took place from October 2023 to May 2024, concluded with 10 successful graduates. The upcoming phase is scheduled to commence on October 21, 2024.
"The reason behind founding Mad Crusader is our conviction that we can address a significant paradox within the global entertainment sector today: there's a demand for new IPs, yet a reluctance to fund them due to perceived risks," commented Yarr Rash, founder and CEO.
"Our initiative democratizes the creation of IPs, harnessing the immense creative potential of talents across the globe, many of whom may lack access to conventional education or industry routes."
Mad Crusader was established by industry experts hailing from EA and Wargaming, including Yarr Rash, Al King, who serves as the Vice President of Brand and Marketing, and Jacob Beucler, the Vice President of Game Development.
