Eschatology Entertainment, a studio founded by veterans of Wargaming and Valve, has raised $11.3 million in investments

A new deal in the gaming market. Eschatology Entertainment has closed its Series A funding round, raising $11.3 million. The round was led by KRAFTON, the owner of PUBG.

Together with KRAFTON, The Games Fund and GEM Capital also invested in the studio. Notably, these two companies had previously invested in Eschatology Entertainment. In 2022, they allocated $4 million to it.

Eschatology Entertainment will use the funds to refine its debut game—a soulslike shooter set in a post-apocalyptic Wild West. The game has moved from the pre-production phase to active production, but the studio is not yet ready to announce a release date.

Eschatology Entertainment was founded in 2022. Among its founders is Viktor Antonov, the visual director of Half-Life 2 and Dishonored. Three other founders of the studio previously worked at Wargaming. Currently, Eschatology Entertainment has a staff of 65 employees.
