Draw Something 2 has been released in the American App Store
The most controversial game of last year has a sequel. However, it's only available to American users for now. Read our material about the innovations of the new OMGPOP project.
Draw Something 2 was in the "soft launch" phase in Sweden and Canada since February. However, in neither markets did the paid version achieve significant success outside of the board and word categories. As for the free version, it ranked in the Top 5 of free apps in Canada. Perhaps taking these achievements into account, Zynga declared that Draw Something 2 "has great potential."
The key feature of the second part is the ability to save your drawings and the so-called free mode, which allows you to draw whatever you want, instead of what the rules require. Later, developers promise the ability to share drawings on Twitter or Facebook. Otherwise, Draw Something 2 is essentially the same "Pictionary," enhanced with new words and brushes.
Amidst the closure of six projects by Pincus, including The Ville, Empires & Allies, Dream Zoo, and Zynga City, it seems that Zynga has a lot of faith in Draw Something 2.
