The iPad leaves no chance for others to profit from mobile advertising

"Apple" devices continue to dominate the mobile advertising market, with the share of the iPad mini growing by 20% in March alone.

According to a report by the mobile advertising company Velti, by the end of March 2013, the iPad accounted for 91.6% of all tablet ad impressions, with the iPad mini in second place at 6.2% (up from 5.2% in February). Closing the top three is the Kindle Fire with 1.6%, which, along with Samsung tablets, accounts for 73.4% of all mobile advertising on Android.

As for mobile advertising as a whole, eight out of the top ten spots are occupied by Apple devices, which collectively account for 62.2% of impressions.
