Reforged Labs secures $3.9 million in latest funding round

Generative AI startup Reforged Labs secured $3.9 million in seed funding, with global venture capital firm DCM leading the round.

The company, which specializes in providing AI solutions for video game advertisements, intends to utilize the investment to enhance its technologies and expand its customer base.

Additional backers included Y Combinator, Epakon Capital, Goodwater Capital, Phoenix Fund, and Asymmetry Ventures.

A few notable angel investors also participated, such as Niantic, Pocket Gems, King co-founder and ex-CFO Sebastian Knutsson, along with the founders and top officials from Sky Mavis.

"Reforged Labs is creating technology that simplifies experimentation with video advertisements for game studios of all sizes, facilitating better and more reliable user acquisition performance on a large scale," Knutsson commented.

He added, "Other companies focus on isolated elements of successful game marketing [...] but Reforged Labs aims to enhance the entire marketing cycle with its comprehensive solution."
