G5 Entertainment: revenue from G5 Store is growing, four games are in soft launch
G5 Entertainment has released its financial report for the second quarter of 2024. Here are the details.

- G5 Entertainment's quarterly revenue totaled 287.9 million Swedish kronor (27.5 million dollars). This represents a 13% year-over-year decline.
- 15% of the revenue came from the G5 Store. Its income increased by 42% compared to 2023.
- North America accounted for 62% of the company's revenue. In Europe, G5 Entertainment earned another 26%, and in Asia — 7%.
- G5 Entertainment's gross profit dropped by 13% to 195 million Swedish kronor (18.6 million dollars).
- Over the year, G5 Entertainment's games MAU decreased by 9% to 4.7 million people, and their DAU by the same 9% to 1.4 million people. The number of unique paying players fell by 18% to 137.2 thousand.
- The average gross monthly revenue per paying user (MAGRPPU) increased by 3%, reaching 63.7 dollars.
- As of June 30, the company had three games in early development stages and four projects in soft launch. Additionally, "many ideas" were awaiting transition to the pre-production phase. It’s worth noting that the majority of games are likely not to reach release. In 2022, the company decided to follow Supercell's path and actively "kill off" less promising titles, releasing only a select few.
