Elden Ring is the best-selling game in the US for June
For the first time since May 2022, Elden Ring topped the US video game bestsellers list for the month, according to Circana's report for June. Its sales increased thanks to the release of the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.

- Alongside Elden Ring, the top five best-selling premium games in the US for June included Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (↑1), Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece (↑396), Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance (new entry), and Hogwarts Legacy (↑4).
- Elden Ring also took the top spot for the highest number of monthly active users on Steam. On PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, Fortnite continued to lead in this regard.
- PlayStation 5 once again became the best-selling console both in dollars and units.
- PlayStation Portal was the best-selling gaming accessory in June in terms of dollar sales. In units sold, it was surpassed by the DualSense Wireless Controller Midnight Black.
- In June, US residents spent a total of $4.56 billion on video games, gaming hardware, and accessories. This is 5% less than a year ago.
- Video game sales amounted to $4.07 billion (-2%), hardware sales were $287 million (-37%), and accessory sales were $204 million (-7%).
