Activision launched the network

Activision has announced the launch of its own mobile social network called Activate.

It is reported that the first products supporting the new service were Skylanders: Lost Islands and Skylanders: Battlegrounds (both games are for iOS devices).

The service offered by Activision is somewhat similar to mobile gaming social networks from Gree and DeNA. It provides features such as saving games in the “cloud”, lists of friends, result tables, “achievements” and other elements of a social “gentleman’s set”.
