The Curator, the well-known figure from Supermassive Games' The Dark Pictures Anthology, has passed away at the age of 67
Tony Pankhurst, known for his role in Supermassive Games' Dark Pictures Anthology, passed away at 67 years old.
Despite his death occurring in May 2024, Supermassive announced the sad news via its social media on July 29.
"We are all saddened to hear of Tony Pankhurst's passing," the game developer stated in a tribute.
"He was the face of The Curator, and we loved working with him."
The Curator is a central character in all installments of The Dark Pictures Anthology, including titles like Man of Medan, Little Hope, House of Ashes, and The Devil In Me, serving as a guide for players throughout the series.
From the start of the series in 2019, Tony Pankhurst provided the visual likeness for The Curator, while Pip Torrens lent his voice and performed the motion capture for the character.
