Riot Games honors the memory of Sam Mowry, the voice actor for League of Legends, who has died at the age of 64
Dota 2 and League of Legends actor Sam Mowry has passed away at the age of 64.
His wife and long-time collaborator, Cindy McGean, stated here that Mowry encountered a cardiac arrest over the weekend while awaiting emergency surgery.
Mowry was recognized for his extensive work both on stage and in gaming titles such as Dota 2, League of Legends, Infamous, and Alexander in Amnesia: The Dark Descent.
Riot Games expressed their condolences on social media.
"We are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Sam Mowry, the voice behind Rhaast," read their message.
"Despite voicing a Darkin, Sam was a beacon of positivity. It has been a privilege to collaborate with him, and his legacy will be a lasting part of Runeterra.
"Thank you, Sam."
