The cost of slots depends on the length of the trailer. Below are the prices for showing clips during the main broadcast.
- 30 seconds — 115,000 euros.
- One minute — 165,000 euros.
- One and a half minutes — 215,000 euros.
- Two minutes — 265,000 euros.
Two years ago, the prices were lower. For comparison, in 2022, a 30-second trailer cost 85,000 euros, and a two-minute trailer was 210,000 euros.
However, participating in Gamescom is significantly cheaper for gaming companies compared to participating in the Summer Game Fest. According to Esquire magazine, this year, the organizers of the Summer Game Fest charged 450,000 dollars for a two-minute clip.
The Opening Night Live ceremony, hosted by journalist and producer Geoff Keighley, will take place on August 20. The Gamescom exhibition itself will start the following day and run until August 25.
