In a financial report released in May, Take-Two stated that it is essential to maintain a high rating for its projects on gaming platforms because this attracts more new players. When projects start receiving low scores en masse, they become less appealing to the audience. Ultimately, this harms the company's business.
“A decline in rating can lead to a loss of players and revenue, additional advertising and marketing costs, as well as damage to reputation,” Take-Two noted.
